Requesting an ASL Interpreter
An ASL Interpreter must be requested by January 26, 2026. Send an email to Paula Hirsch at conference@clta.net to request this service.

Only one session per time slot on Saturday/Sunday can be accommodated with an ASL interpreter.

Thursday/Friday Workshops cannot be accommodated due to financial constraints.

CLTA General Fund

Donations made to the General Fund will be used to support CLTA's efforts in advocacy, webinars and for other expenses associated with administering our organization. Any donation you can make at this time is much appreciated.




CLTA Leadership Development Fund

Donations made to the CLTA Leadership Development Fund will be used to support CLTA's efforts to identify & build leadership capacity within our Language Educator community in order to carry out the mission & vision of CLTA.



Hal Wingard Inspirational Leadership Endowment Fund

The Hal Wingard Inspirational Leadership Endowment Fund is a solid investment in the future of our profession as well as a tribute to the memory of the Fellowship’s namesake, Mr. Hal Wingard. Each dollar donated is a valuable contribution toward developing CLTA’s leadership to address and meet one of its primary goals of developing a globally competent citizenry. (Please note, your contribution to this fund goes into the Endowment and the interest earned is used for CLTA's leadership programs.)


LangAbroD Grant Fund

The LangAbroD Grant helps defray travel expenses for members who wish to improve their fluency in the language they teach by visiting a country where that language is spoken. Although the LangAbroD is a stand-alone grant, CLTA encourages teachers who apply for other Study Abroad Grants to apply for the LangAbroD Grant simultaneously.



Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Memorial Scholarship provides financial support to enable one or more members to travel abroad for the purpose of improving their competency and skills in language teaching and augmenting their knowledge of culture and language through travel and/or formal study. 



Sidney Gorman Scholarship Fund

This Sidney Gorman Scholarship provides financial support to enable new teachers (who have been teaching for fewer than 5 years) to improve their competency and skills in language teaching and to augment their knowledge of culture and language through participation in CLTA’s annual statewide conference. 



Sylvia Jones Legacy Scholarship Fund

The Sylvia Jones Scholarship provides financial support to one or more mid-career teachers who have been teaching languages between 10-20 years to attend the CLTA/CWLP Summer Seminar. 



Terms and Conditions

CLTA will comply with the State and Local Health guidelines and recommendations at the time of the event. 

LATE FEE: 
A $50 Late Fee may be assessed on all new registrations not received by Feb. 21, 2026.

REFUND POLICY:
All requests for refund must be in writing to registrar@clta.net by Feb. 21, 2026. No refunds will be made if requested after that date. A $25 Administrative Fee will be assessed for ALL cancellations.  Refunds will NOT be given on Membership Dues or meals. Refunds will be processed after the conference.

Photograph Permission: By registering for this conference, individuals are giving CLTA permission to use any photographs taken.

WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS: CLTA makes your contact information available to our workshop presenters so they can communicate with you pre- and post-Conference about the workshop(s) in which you are registered. If you do NOT want to your emailed shared with the presenter, send an email to registrar@clta.net reflecting your wishes to not be contacted by the presenter. CLTA is not responsible if you are not prepared for your registered workshop(s) because you chose not to share your email with the presenter.
