ChUm is YOU! On the evening of Thursday, November 6th from 6:30 until 8 PM (at the latest) we will hold our Chum Fall Assembly. For those new to Chum Assembly, we gather clergy, delegates (congregational and community at-large) and anyone who wants to join us to an event that takes place three times a year to hear updates, learn about our needs, successes, and to see the impact you are making through your support (financial, in-kind donations, and volunteerism). At this assembly we really want to equip YOU, the delegates, in the work of Chum, to offer opportunities you can take back to their congregation/community.
Our theme is one of hope and celebration of our successes! Chum is in the midst of change and we are asking our community to support us in new and exciting ways.
Come for connection to friends you've shared ministry with for years, or to make new friends. Come to listen to stories of the impact your shared ministry has had on people experiencing one of Chum's programs. Come to share your experiences as a Chum delegate, volunteer, or what you've witnessed as a member of the Chum family. Get the latest on Chum's shelter expansion and the status of housing in Duluth, projects completed or still in the works. Bring a friend, a can of soup or vegetables for the food shelf, and COME!
