Applications close at 11:59pm ET, on December 5, 2025. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Please give yourself time before the deadline to submit so that you don't run into any last minute issues.

The Manufacturing Accelerator is designed for startups based anywhere in the U.S. that have already developed a fully functional prototype, have a minimum viable product, and identified a customer market. Hardware and physical product startups with innovations geared towards businesses or consumers that include electronics, plastics, enclosures, mechanisms, and or machines are encouraged to apply.

Ideal candidates have:
  • A legal entity company with the rights to the intellectual property behind their design
  • A dedicated full-time team (prefer at least two people, but one person can qualify)
  • A validated business model, including technical feasibility and business viability
  • An identified market size and customer problem
  • A viable, working prototype that meets customers’ needs
  • Funding to support initial manufacturing runs

Our manufacturing accelerator consists of 3
tailored tracks:

  • Classic Track: Open to innovators in any field, Rev’s classic track provides foundational training across ALL industries.
  • AgTech Track: Agriculture technology startups are immersed in specialized training and connected to experts and potential partners within the agriculture industry. Ideas can span from growing to food processing. Team's will be in proximity to the Cornell Agriculture Life Science (CALS) school resources.
  • MedTech TrackOffered in partnership with Cornell Biomedical Engineering and Weill Cornell, the new MedTech track provides innovators developing medical devices access to specialized prototyping equipment, regulatory resources, and research and medical professionals in the field.
  • ClimateTech TrackClimatetech startups are placed in a like-minded cohort, matched with clean energy and clean tech mentors, and learn from guest speakers in the field. Startups should be able to identify a reduction in Green House Gas emissions.
Companies/Teams can apply to only 1 track at a time. Apply to which track you believe is most applicable to your product. If you are interested in joining the AgTech, MedTech or ClimateTech tracks, you must explain in the application below how your product "fits" within the industry track.

Applications will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis. If you have any questions, please reach out to Rev@RevIthaca.com.

Team Member Information
Your team lead should be someone of standing in your company who will most directly interact with the Rev team throughout the program.

If you are interested in Development Support (section below), we recommend including technical team members on this application.

*Please only include team members that are contributing at least 10 hours per week.

Development Support
In addition to regular programming, teams selected for development support will gain access to Rev's shop and engineering team to help with design and development. This level of support is suited for teams who may not have full-time or contracting engineers on their team. If you have full time engineers on your team, it is expected that you have ideas about how to divide up work to allow our team to work effectively. This can include a variety of different projects that will be discussed if you are selected for development support (determined by December 17).

In order to be considered for this level of this program, we acknowledge that in addition to regular programming, our team will be able to dedicate 1 hour/week to meet with Rev's engineering team and an additional 1-2 hours of documentation/offline communication. I understand that teams who fail to communicate or provide the proper feedback to the Rev support team risk being dropped from development support.
