Intro to Python M/W

Class details
Location: Remote on Zoom
Meets: Mondays and Wednesdays, 5-7PM
Dates: February 9 - May 8, 2026

Class information
Starting from the syntax of the language, we’ll go through and learn all of the basic concepts. While doing this, we will be working together on awesome activities you can add to your portfolio. After we cover the basics, we’ll dive into intermediate concepts like using libraries, building chatbots, and more. We’ll finish off by working in groups to create an awesome final project which will be presented at Demo Day at the end of the semester!

  • Unity Fundamentals: Gain a solid foundation in Unity, one of the most powerful and versatile game development platforms. Learn how to navigate the Unity interface, import assets, and create a VR-ready project.
  • Creating Immersive Environments: Delve into the art of world-building and scene design. Understand the principles of scale, proportion, and lighting to craft believable VR environments.
  • Introduction to C# Scripting: Explore some neat features with C# scripting in Unity. Try out custom interactions using the physics engine to add realism to your VR experiences!
  • Industry Insights: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the ever-evolving VR landscape!
