We often hear from our colleagues from around the world that even with deep engagement in personally growing our consciousness and commitment to equity, engaging in anti-oppression work within organizations/institutions/classrooms can still be difficult. This fellowship will be a collective space for all of us to learn and unlearn together, and to support each other to become more skilled and confident in engaging in challenging, but critical conversations in our countries.
The DEI Advocates Fellowship is designed to support and to deepen confidence and competence in bringing issues of diversity, equity, belonging and inclusion into classrooms, teams, organizations, institutions and relationships. This series will consist of 8 two-hour sessions over 4 months, 1-2 hours of independent work between sessions and producing a plan for an action learning project. Therefore, it is imperative that you have the needed time to complete all 3 components. Currently, the fellowship will be held in English and Spanish, and learners will be asked to engage in the materials and calls in these languages. If you’d like to participate in Spanish, please apply at this application form.
