Texas agencies are currently under "Sunset Review," a legislative oversight process that takes place about every 8 -12 years to determine the effectiveness of state agencies and boards. 

With agencies such as DFPS, HHSC, TJJD, and TWC under review, this is a valuable opportunity to drive change for Texas youth services providers and the young people they serve. TNOYS is hosting a series of listening sessions with a wide range of youth-serving providers to learn about their experiences with state agencies, issues on the ground, and opportunities for change. Your input will help shape TNOYS’ recommendations to the Legislature’s Sunset Commission. No concerns are too big or too small to share. 

How to register: We are organizing the Sunset Listening Sessions by topic rather than by agency.
