Welcome to the world’s premier competition in economics and financial literacy, open to high school students (ages 14–20). Whether you're a high school teacher or a homeschool parent, this is your opportunity to connect your students to a global online platform where they can showcase their knowledge, enhance their skills, and earn international recognition. No prior experience in economics is required!


Who is eligible?

Open to all students aged 14–20 from all secondary school backgrounds, including homeschool settings.


How to Register:

For Teachers: Complete this form as the designated School Coordinator to sign up your school.

For Homeschool Parents: Fill out this form on behalf of your homeschool student(s). 

By registering your school or homeschool to participate in the Economic Olympiad, you’ll become a School Coordinator and join a global community of educators nurturing the next generation of economic thinkers. What does a school coordinator do?

Competition Structure & Schedule:

  • Registration Opens - November 2025
  • Registration Closes - January 31, 2026
  • School Round - February 15-28, 2026 (Online)
  • Intercontinental Round - May 22-25, 2026 (Guatemala City, Guatemala)
  • International Final Round - August 10-14, 2026 (Ancient Olympia, Greece)
