Each young person participating in a SALTS trip is referred to as a "trainee".

Trip Preferences

Be sure to check the NEW Summer 2026 trip dates and routes and pay careful attention to the boarding and disembarking locations! Remember, SALTS does not provide transportation to or from the dock. 

Select the trips you want IN ORDER OF PREFERENCE. Click "Add Another Trip Choice" to select another trip you will accept. You can select up to all 10, but only choose the trips you can accept!


Please note that Trip 1 is not offered on the Pacific Swift in 2026 as it will be our Family Connection Voyage. Those interested in that trip will use a separate registration process.

Medical and Dietary Considerations

We need to be notified of any significant dietary requirement such as celiac disease or serious allergies, and health conditions, as indicated in our Physical & Mental Fitness Requirements. 

Please contact our office to discuss what accommodations are possible.


After trainees have been assigned to a trip, they will report further details of ALL dietary requests (i.e., vegetarian, dairy free, etc.), medical conditions and medications on their Trainee Profile form.
Credits
Your Credit of 
will be applied to your registration fee.
Any remaining credit will be applied to reduce your total trip fee.
When you are assigned to a trip, you will receive a summary of your account with your credit applied.
Bursary Funding

Please be advised that bursary funds for 2026 are now exhausted and SALTS will be unable provide funds for any additional Summer registrants.
Bursary Programs

Please note that bursary applications can only be submitted after we are able to assign the applicant to one of their requested trips. The trip assignment notification email will include a custom bursary application link connected to their registration. 

All trip registrations are subject to the $150.00 registration fee; however, if a bursary applicant qualifies for and is awarded funding that covers the entire cost of the trip, they will receive a refund of the registration fee after they have completed their trip and fulfilled any bursary recipient obligations. 

(Ex. Split into more than 1 payment, delaying until next pay day, etc.)

Gift Certificate Credit
The value of your gift certificate will be applied to the $150 registration fee. The remainder of the registration fee must be paid before you can be assigned to a trip.

Your trip assignment notification will include a suggested payment schedule for the remaining trip fee.   
Your gift certificate will be applied first to the $150 registration fee, and the remaining credit will be applied to your trip fee when you are assigned to a trip.

Your fees are fully covered by your gift certificate! Your trip assignment notification will include a summary of your account indicating that your fees are paid in full.

Registration Fee Payment

You will be taken to the Registration Fee Payment form when you hit "Submit".

If someone else will be paying the registration fee for you, they can use the  payment link you will receive by email shortly. Just forward it to them, and their payment will be applied to your account. 

Trips are assigned based on the date & time the Trip Request was received, so ensure that your registration fee payment is submitted within 48 hours of this Trip Request to maintain your trip assignment order!
