This is our primary means to communicate news and updates about the CSA to members, and everyone is added at registration. If you choose, you are welcome to un-subscribe to our emails.





We encourage all members to subscribe to text alerts as this is a useful way to communicate reminders and last minute changes to pick-ups such as bad storms! You can opt out at any time by responding STOP

We ask the following to make sure we meet everyone's needs — inclusive of race, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, and CSA experience. Every question in this section is optional, but your willingness to share helps us evaluate our program and access funding resources.











Media Release
Media release conditions: I hereby grant Just Roots permission to use my likeness in a photograph, video, or other digital media in any and all of its publications, without compensation or other consideration. 

I understand and agree that all media in which I appear as a part of my CSA membership are the property of Just Roots.

I hereby irrevocably authorize Just Roots to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, and distribute media in which I appear in lawful ways. I waive any right to inspect or approve this media. 

I hereby hold harmless, release, and forever discharge Just Roots from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, or any other persons acting on my behalf have or may have by reason of this authorization.

You may request delivery of your CSA share if one of the following circumstances describe your situation AND you in Franklin County.
    • You have limited mobility that prevents you from coming in person 
    • You have a high risk condition
    • You live at Leyden Woods, Oak Courts, or Elm Terrace

Your answer to this question will determine if you qualify for a REDUCED-COST FARM SHARE. For more information on income eligibility, read SHARE SIZES & COST on the CSA page below.

Share Selection

We ask that you select the price that works for your life situation. The highest price for each of the share sizes ($950 for the full; $695 for the small) reflects what it actually costs Just Roots to grow your food and do all of the other things that make it possible for it to land on your table! If you are not in a position to pay that full price, we still want you to participate and encourage everyone to pay the rate that works for their household. THANK YOU FOR PAYING WHAT YOU CAN!

NEW! Sign up for a Summer Meat Share! This monthly box features a rotating variety of local chicken, beef, pork, and fish and costs $400 for June-October.
These shares are limited and offered first come, first served. For people paying with SNAP, listed prices are BEFORE the HIP rebate. Subtract your HIP rebate ($40-$80/month) to calculate your cost. If you have any questions about this, click on SHARE SIZES AND COSTS at justroots.org/csa or give us a call!

IMPORTANT NOTE! The meat share is not eligible for monthly AutoSNAP payments through the DTA. Manual SNAP payments must be made each month before or at pickups.

NOTES: Option to pay a deposit will only display if credit card is selected, otherwise we assume installment payments. JR staff can hide this field partway through the season to remove the option to pay a deposit (click the field > options > hidden).

Key items to be aware of:
  • The choice values of paying in full vs deposit are referenced by the calculated fields; be careful changing those
  • If you modify "What type of share" by adding values or changing the text of any selection, you will need to update the Salesforce connector.

The amount that someone will be required to pay if they select paying by credit card & deposit. May be edited by Just Roots to change the deposit amount.

Static field that can be updated by JR. It's used by iATS for the scheduled payment start date if the person is paying in multiple installments rather than all at once. Changing this will change the scheduled payment start date for all new submissions. The scheduled payment is handles separately than the one-time (due now) payment so the start date should be for when the scheduled payment starts.

SNAP

You are permitting Just Roots to deduct $54 per month from your SNAP account. Please read the following AutoSNAP updates carefully.


Paying with Auto-Snap
To use SNAP to pay for a CSA share, we require that you enroll in AutoSNAP payments with the DTA! AutoSNAP allows Just Roots to automatically receive your payments on the same day your benefits renew each month. It saves time and energy for you and for us! See the steps below to enroll.

NEW THIS YEAR! The DTA has launched an online CSA AutoSNAP registration site that replaces the old paper form.

To enroll in automatic SNAP/HIP CSA payments:
  1. First complete and submit this Just Roots CSA registration form to secure your spot!
  2. Once submitted, you will be prompted to visit the Just Roots page on the DTA Finder CSA website here.
  3. Follow the prompts to enter your name, DOB, EBT card number, and contact information.
  4. Select your share size.
  5. Select from pickup or delivery.
  6. Sign and submit the form.

You will receive an email when your AutoSNAP payments are confirmed. If you have any questions about AutoSNAP or the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP), or you don't think you have enough SNAP money to cover the cost of the share, give us a call!

Member Commitment
By signing up for a CSA share with Just Roots, I am committing to a season of fresh, local, naturally grown vegetables. I understand that the CSA model is one of risk and reward. In most seasons, we share in the great bounty! In a harder season (drought/floods), I may receive less than I hoped for. I trust that our farmers are doing all they can to provide me with a bountiful share, and by participating in this farm share, I am pledging my support to my farmers and farm. Together we make a strong farm community!
