Naturalization 101

View the training online anytime. You will be emailed access instructions when the training video is ready in February 2026.

Attendees will learn how to screen potential clients for eligibility to apply for naturalization and how to assist clients in completing the N-400 Application for Naturalization. Upon completing the training, volunteers will be prepared to support clients in a clinic setting or to take on their own naturalization cases with guidance from an immigration staff mentor.

Volunteers must agree to attend at least one naturalization clinic with Esperanza Center’s Immigration Legal Services in exchange for the training.
