Willamette Confluence Community Survey

McKenzie River Trust would like to understand your perspective on parks and undeveloped natural areas near the confluence of the Middle and Coast Forks of the Willamette River (see purple shading on map below). This survey will help create a shared vision to guide land stewardship, habitat restoration, conservation, education, and resources in the Willamette Confluence area, and other nearby places. If you have questions, please visit our website or email Elizabeth Goward at elizabeth@mckenzieriver.org.

A map shows the Willamette Confluence property in relationship with nearby public lands.

The view looks across the Middle Fork Willamette River from the Clear Water bike path. The Willamette Confluence property is in the foreground flowing up to Mt. Pisgah.

The Coast Fork and Middle Fork of the Willamette River flow together through a large, undeveloped area near Springfield, Oregon, that is rich in biodiversity, beauty, and opportunities for land and water conservation, habitat restoration, and community connections. Agencies, organizations, Tribes, landowners, and neighbors are collaborating to envision a future for this 1,317-acre area and nearby lands, which are managed for public benefit. The following questions aim to better understand how the general public would approch long-term management of the Willamette Confluence property which is currently owned and managed by McKenzie River Trust. Explore the property online.
