A $20 deposit is required to submit a scholarship application for River Rally 2026. If you are not awarded a scholarship to attend River Rally, you can either have this deposit refunded or applied to your registration fee. If this application fee is a barrier for you, please let us know.

Scholarship Award Timeline

The scholarship application for 2026 will close on February 25th, and notice about award allocations should be shared by the end of March. Once notified, applicants will have two weeks to either confirm acceptance of any awards offered, pay any balance of registration fees that may be due (minus the $20 application deposit), or cancel your registration without penalty. If no award is offered and the applicants decides not to join River Rally this year, the $20 deposit will be refunded.

Health & Safety Guidelines

Specific and locally relevant safety guidelines will be shared as River Rally approaches. Regardless, the River Rally community will be supportive of those who choose to mask or use other health aids and devices.

We strongly encourage all attendees to test for COVID and flu prior to attending River Rally. Registrants who are symptomatic for any communicable illness within seven days of the event will be issued a full refund, regardless of the above cancellation dates. In this scenario, a registration may also be transferred to another individual who is able to attend, for no additional cost.

If an attendee becomes symptomatic of COVID, flu or another communicable illness on site, they must immediately leave event areas and follow public-health guidance. On-site staff will be available to provide rapid tests and masks.
