The ACTivate Gathering (previously called the New Staff Orientation) is the primary opportunity to get a sense of your participation in something larger than your own ministry goals. You are now a part of a world-wide ministry organization with more than 500 artistic and innovative ministry leaders, ministers, and missionaries. It is great to have you as a member of our ACT staff community!
New relationships, networking opportunities, ministry encouragement and validation, training and equipping, and just lots of fun are all elements of what you will experience at these gatherings with fellow new and veteran ACT staff.
A few things to keep in mind as you make plans to attend one of the gatherings.
- Participation in the entire event is required for it to count as fulfilling your commitment as a new staff member, so choose a date and location that works within your calendar.
- The cost of participation in any of these gathering including meals listed as being provided is covered by your New Department Fee. This includes your spouse or one other department team member. You are welcome to invite others to join you. There will be a small fee to cover the meals of your additional participants.
- Childcare is not provided. If your children are old enough to occupy themselves without too much distraction to you, you are welcome to bring them. Our primary desire is for you to fully benefit from the experience.
