2026 Ruby Award (IN-PERSON)

The Ruby Award is Jewish LearningWorks' biennial celebration of excellence in teen education. This spring, as we honor an educator from the Bay Area community, we will learn from NYT Pulitzer Prize winning author, Matt Richtel, who will present the research of his recent book "How We Grow Up: Understanding Adolescence," and how it applies to those working in the field of Jewish teen education and engagement.

Date: Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
Time: 10:00 am. Lunch will be served.
Place: JCCSF (3200 California St, San Francisco, CA 94118). Paid parking available.
Cost: Register for $36 per person.

Priorities shift, plans change and emergencies happen. For most of our programs which require a fee, we are happy to extend a full refund for those who cancel their reservation ten days before the program begins. In some cases, we can extend a partial refund if a reservation is cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.

No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of a program forfeit their reservation, and are not eligible for a refund.
