EdLaunch is an intensive year-long incubator for early-stage entrepreneurs who are alumni of network partners of Teach For All in the Africa region. A collaboration between Teach For  All and the nine network partners in the region, the incubator aims to support alums with innovative ideas that could improve outcomes for children to turn their ideas into action. 
The incubator will include a twelve week bootcamp for up to 18 entrepreneurs, 1:1 mentorship from industry experts, and six months of funding intended to enable entrepreneurs to work full time on their ventures for to up to 6 award winners (who will be selected at the end of the bootcamp through an in-person pitching event)

To apply to be part of the first cohort of EdLaunch, you must meet the following criteria: 
  • You must be an official alumni of one of the following organizations: Teach For Senegal, Teach For Sierra Leone, Teach For Liberia, Teach For Nigeria, Teach For Ethiopia, Teach For Kenya, Teach For Uganda, Teach For Zimbabwe, Teach For Niger (2nd year fellows who will be alums as of 1st August 2026 are also welcome to apply)
  • You must be a founder/ co-founder of a venture focusing on improving outcomes for young people in Africa (Ventures that are not legally registered are also welcome to apply as long as a pilot has been completed)
  • You must be leading a venture that is ‘early-stage’, i.e. in the first three years of operation
  • Be available to complete an intensive 3-month boot camp virtually (minimum 4 hours a week) from April to July 2026
  • Be committed and willing to work on your venture in a full time capacity, if you are selected as one of the three award winners at the end of the bootcamp
  • Be available and able to travel to an in-person event from July 22nd to 24th, 2026 (Location TBD)

This application will likely take a minimum of 90 minutes to complete. We recommend that you think through your answers thoroughly and spend at least 2-3 hours on this to give yourself the best chance of being selected.
