Join Dr. Michael Thompson for The Pressured Child, a community presentation exploring the causes and impacts of childhood pressure and offering strategies to support children’s well-being.


About Dr. Michael Thompson:
For nearly 35 years, Dr. Thompson has worked as a clinical psychologist, school consultant, and international speaker on children, schools, and parenting. He has authored ten books on topics including the emotional lives of boys, childhood friendships and social cruelty, the impact of summer camp experiences on child development, parent-teacher dynamics, and psychological aspects of school leadership.


Dr. Thompson works with independent and public schools across the U.S., as well as international schools in Europe, Asia, and South America, visiting roughly thirty schools each year to lead workshops for teachers, administrators, parents, and students.
