KAHAL Abroad Experience Microgrant Application

As part of the KAHAL Abroad Experience, JDC Entwine is offering microgrants of up to $150 to Jewish students studying abroad. These funds would be reserved for those invested in enriching their Jewish experience abroad. Below are some examples of what would qualify for microgrants:

Paying for an entrance ticket to attend a Jewish event.
Buying supplies to celebrate Shabbat or a Jewish Holiday in a student space.
Running a one-off event to bring Jewish students together in their abroad destination.

The Microgrants may NOT be used for events/programs with political objectives. They may not be used for general student events/programming, only for attending or hosting events that are explicitly Jewish.

In order to apply for the microgrant, please submit a POP Proposal. Details on what is included in a POP are attached, along with an example. Students must have a US, European, Israeli, or Canadian Bank Account to qualify for reimbursement.

*Microgrants of up to $150.00 will be offered per applicant each semester to allow for as many students as possible to be able to receive one. If you apply more than once, please note you will only be eligible for $150.00 total per semester.*

Funding

Upload a detailed budget of the total cost of your Program. If approved, you will be asked to share all receipts and will be reimbursed for the exact amount you spent (up to $150.00).

We may be taking photographs and videos, or encouraging you to take photographs and videos, at KAHAL’s events and want to continue to grow KAHAL’s outreach through social media and other publications. Do you agree that JDC, a select group of JDC entities and affiliates, and our partners and funders as set forth in our Privacy Policy may process photographs, video recordings and audio recordings of your voice, image, simulated likeness, and of other personal characteristics for general promotional, fundraising, educational, and archival purposes of KAHAL and of its programs, to publish on their websites, social media, newsletters, brochures, and other publications, and for grant reporting to donors?

We want to advance our charitable mission. Do you agree to allow JDC to transfer your personal data to other JDC entities, third parties (KAHAL partners, donors, benefits providers), and KAHAL service providers for purposes described in the Privacy Policy?
