Acompáñenos a un taller bilingüe virtual de dos horas con Pacific Education Institute (PEI), para aprender sobre cuencas hidrográficas, ecosistemas y cómo conectar estas ideas con tu salón de clases.

A través de actividades prácticas, discusiones y recursos listos para usar en el aula, usted podrá:

  • Comprender mejor cómo funcionan las cuencas hidrográficas y por qué son importantes para ecosistemas saludables.
  • Descubrir estrategias interactivas para ayudar a los estudiantes a conectar conceptos científicos con su entorno local.
  • Aprender maneras de incorporar recursos bilingües y prácticas inclusivas en su enseñanza.

Este taller será facilitado en inglés y español

Horas de crédito: Los maestros certificados del estado de Washington recibirán 2 horas de crédito STEM por participar.

Público: Maestros de K–5, educadores bilingües y cualquier persona que apoye la enseñanza de ciencias en primaria. Costo: Sin costo para educadores

Welcome K-5 Educators!

Join Pacific Education Institute (PEI) for an engaging two-hour virtual bilingual professional learning workshop where we’ll explore the science of watersheds, ecosystems, and how to connect these ideas to your classroom.

Through hands-on activities, discussions, and classroom-ready resources, you’ll:

  • Build your understanding of how watersheds work and why they matter for healthy ecosystems.
  • Discover interactive strategies to help young learners connect science concepts to their local environment.
  • Learn ways to incorporate bilingual resources and inclusive practices into your teaching.

This session will be facilitated in both English and Spanish

Clock Hours: Certified Washington State teachers will earn 2 STEM clock hours for participating.

Audience: K–5 classroom teachers, bilingual educators, and anyone supporting elementary science instruction.
