We will be preparing and packaging over 300 meals and 600 chocolate chip cookies from scratch under chef instruction. The session is very engaging and all the instructions are given step by step. We suggest wearing comfortable shoes as you will be standing at stations and moving around for those two hours. We provide small water bottles and some Red Vines for a sugar boost during the session as well as a sample of the cookies you make as they come fresh out of the oven.
We provide aprons, gloves and hairnets at check in, please feel free to wear a hat if you want to avoid wearing a hair net and make sure to wear closed-toed shoes.
We are located at 8657 W. Pico Blvd Los Angeles 90035, there is metered one hour parking on Pico, or unmetered street parking available on the side streets of Bedford or Sherbourne during the week from 9am-6pm.
We’re excited to offer a special evening for our Isaiah community to cook and share a meal together at OBKLA. Reserving the space for the night, including all food and supplies, costs $1,800. To help make this possible, we are asking participants to contribute $25 each toward the evening. If contributing presents a financial hardship, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Deborah Moses. We want this night to be fully inclusive, and we never want cost to be a barrier to taking part in this shared experience.
