Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Career Day during the 2026 Wise Readers to Leaders Summer Literacy Program.
Career Day gives K-8 scholars the opportunity to learn about a variety of career paths by hearing directly from professionals in the community. Volunteers will share their personal career journey, education or training pathway, and answer scholar questions in a small-group setting. The goal is to expose scholars to the many opportunities that their futures could hold.
Career Day will take place on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 1:50–3:00 PM at one of our summer program sites in Bel Air or West LA.
