Please complete the following form to register your child for the upcoming Dance for Social Change (DSC) Youth Programs. Be sure to read the following program descriptions clearly to make sure you are registering your young person for the correct program!

Programs: 

• DSC Mini Movers Camp 

• Ages: 3 - 6 year olds 

• Dates: June 8- 19 Monday- Friday 9am-12pm 

• Location: Dancing Grounds, 3705 St. Claude Ave New Orleans, LA 70117

• What to Expect: Two energetic classes every day Hip Hop and Creative Movement designed to spark imagination, confidence, and a love for dance in our youngest movers.

• DSC Juniors Camp

• Ages: 7-12 year olds 

• Dates: July 7-31 Monday- Friday 9am-4pm

• Location: Dancing Grounds, 3705 St. Claude Ave New Orleans, LA 70117

• ** Culminating Performance on Saturday August 1, 2026 

• What to Expect: Four dynamic classes daily, providing in-depth study with elite instructors. Campers will sharpen skills in choreography, freestyle, performance, and musical theater, gaining valuable experience and growing as young artists.

Accessible Tuition Options at Dancing Grounds

Because of the current political and funding climate, we are not able to offer our youth programs completely free this year. However, making our programs accessible to all families remains a top priority.

We never want to turn away a young person due to lack of funds. That’s why we created our Pay It Forward tuition model to ensure that we can offer programming to a student who needs it. This system allows families with greater financial capacity to help cover some of the cost for other students who need support.

How Pay It Forward Works:
Families who opt in to Pay It Forward pay a higher tuition rate that not only covers their child’s tuition—but also supports a scholarship for another young dancer. 

If you choose the Pay it forward option, you would pay that amount instead of Full Tuition! Payment Plans Available. As a thank-you, Pay It Forward families will also receive a DG Leap Membership for the Fall or Spring Season of their choice which includes:

• 4 Free adult dance classes a month 

• Discounts on DG events

Dancing Grounds will also be actively fundraising and reaching out to community sponsors to ensure we are doing our part in keeping tuition equitable.

Need Financial Assistance?

We offer need-based financial aid. There is no income documentation required. We trust our families. Just let us know what you can reasonably afford, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Please note: if scholarship spots are filled, your name will be placed on a waitlist and we will notify you as soon as spots become available.

Other Tuition Specials: 

• Discount for families registering multiple children

• More than one child: 10% off total price, More than 2 youth 20% off.

• Note: After submitting this form, please head over to pay your first payment to secure your child's spot. While your spot is held, your registration is not complete until Registration fee and 1st payment has been submitted, or otherwise instructed by a DG representative.
