Improving the Patient Experience - Expression of Interest Form

Large Grants Programme - Grants over £25,000

A patient’s experience across the hospital is a combination of many factors, from the waiting room environment to the care received and treatment given. Facilities, spaces, service improvements and advanced equipment can all support the patient experience.

We are interested in supporting new Trust wide, innovative, impactful projects that are evidence based and have good measurable outcomes.

We welcome Expressions of interest that:

·         Enhance patient spaces by creating therapeutic, healing environments across wards, breakout rooms, relatives’ accommodation, bathroom facilities, ambulatory care areas, overnight accommodation, and surgical spaces.

·         Introduce new or upgraded equipment and services that improve patient comfort, dignity, and overall experience, while recognising and supporting the vital role of family wellbeing in recovery.

·         Promote positive patient experiences that nurture mental wellbeing through distraction techniques and holistic interventions, including art therapy, complementary therapies, and other supportive wellbeing initiatives.

EOI's will be reviewed by the Trust Lead for Patent Experience who along with the Charity will select which projects to take forward.

Priority will be given to those applications that have CCG Directorate support
