Great bookstores foster community, strengthen civic life, and create lifelong readers. Through our Bookstores & Book Access work, Emerson Collective partners with independent bookstores across the country that operate nonprofit and hybrid models to sustain their community and educational work. For our partners, this may include traditional book events and reading programs, as well as writing workshops, book giveaways, educational partnerships, and more.
Current or prospective bookstore leaders interested in learning about our partners’ experience with nonprofit or hybrid models may complete the form below. Due to capacity constraints, we may not be able to respond to every request.
