Tenant Justice Project (TJP): Rent Court Basics for Volunteers

View the training on demand. Once registered, you will be emailed access instructions within 1 business day.

This training equips lawyers, paralegals, and law students with the foundational knowledge needed before observing a Rent Court docket or volunteering in a non‑legal support role at PBRC’s ACE clinics. Participants will learn how Rent Court operates, what tenants experience when facing eviction, and how PBRC delivers on-the-ground counsel through staffed Rent Court clinics. Participants must agree to observe one rent court clinic in exchange for this free training.
