Reimagining STEAM Education: Bridging the Inclusion Gap for Every Learner
Too many students miss out on STEAM learning because they don't have access to certain materials, learn in different ways, or attend schools with limited resources. When classrooms rely heavily on specific equipment or one teaching approach, some students get left behind. This session offers a different path.

Sonja Macher will share how Universal Design for Learning, creative accessible solutions, and thoughtful classroom practices fosters students’ sense of belonging in STEAM spaces. Drawing from her work with neurodiverse students, learners with physical disabilities, and students in under-resourced communities, Sonja has seen students who once held back now lead their own projects and see themselves as problem-solvers and creators. Participants will leave with practical strategies ready to use, and a renewed commitment to reaching every learner.

Join the call on March 26 at 2:00 p.m. GMT. This Joint session will be facilitated by Inclusive Education & Global STEAM Education Community. This learning opportunity will be available in English, with Spanish and Arabic interpretation.
