Survey: Child and family experiences of Positive Behaviour Support

This survey is for families of children aged 9 years and older who currently use, or have previously used, Positive Behaviour Support.

If you have more than one child who has used Positive Behaviour Support, please answer about one child only. If you’d like, you’re welcome to complete the survey again to share about another child.

Positive Behaviour Support aims to reduce the negative impact of behaviours of concern for people with disability. It focuses on understanding behaviour, building skills and creating supportive environments to improve quality of life and participation in everyday activities.

In this survey, we use the term ‘Behaviour Support Practitioner’. You might also hear this called a Specialist Behaviour Practitioner or Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.

We will use this information to help shape our response to the NDIS Evidence Advisory Committee consultation and other advocacy work. We will not use any personal or identifiable information. Find out more in our Privacy Policy on our website.
