one n ten Art Club. Call for Art: Summer Gallery Show
Thank you for applying! This is a showcase of queer youth art at the one·n·ten Youth Center (1101 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004).

Please do not drop off artwork until you have be instructed to do so.


THEME: OCs and Sonas
Calling all artists who make original characters and personas! This showcase celebrates the creativity, freedom of self-expression, and queer identity exploration that comes from drawing OCs and sonas. Who are your characters, and how have they helped you find yourself?


Requirements: 

Age: This Showcase is open to youth ages 11-24 who have attended at least one one·n·ten program.

Limit: Each person can submit up to three pieces of visual art.

Requirements: For each artwork, you will submit the title, medium, dimensions, and a photo of the artwork.  

Selection Process: Artwork will be selected based on available space we have for the Showcase.

Drop Off: If your 2D or 3D work is accepted, you must be able to drop off the artwork at the one·n·ten Youth Center (1101 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004). 


What do we accept?  

Type: New and existing visual artwork (2D, 3D, digital)

Guidelines: All artwork must follow our safe space guidelines. We do not accept artwork that includes depictions of drugs, alcohol, cursing, nudity, sexual acts, explicit depictions of self-harm or suicide, excessively violent acts or gore, or hate speech of any kind.

The use of generative AI is not allowed.


FAQs

When can I drop off my artwork?
Please wait for an acceptance email from Dempsey before dropping off any artwork. If your artwork is accepted, Dempsey will schedule a time with you.

Can you print my digital artwork for me?
Yes! If you artwork is selected, we can print it up to 11" x 17" size. Please make sure your artwork it at least 300 DPI so it does not look blurry when printed.

Does my artwork need to be framed?
No. If you submit flat visual artwork, we will frame it for you.

I attend a Satellite. Can my Satellite Coordinator drop off my art for me?

    • Gallery Show: June 22nd - August 21st
    • Artwork Pick up Deadline: August 28th







For each artwork, we will ask you for:

Title: Title of your artwork
Medium: What material(s) did you make your artwork out of?
Dimensions:
For digital work, provide the Length x Width that you want it printed at.
For 2D work, provide the Length x Width in inches.
For 3D work, provide the Length x Width x Height in inches.
Upload photo: Provide a clear, good quality photo, scan, or upload of the artwork without shadows or glare.
