With deep love and gratitude, we invite you to join us for a joyful weekend celebrating Rabbi Zoë Klein Miles as she enters emerita status on July 1.
Rabbi Zoë has shaped our community with her imagination, spiritual depth, and artistic voice—guiding us through life’s tender and transformative moments. This weekend will honor her many gifts with learning, music, art, and the simple joy of being together.

Weekend Celebration Schedule

Friday, May 1

6:15 p.m. Shabbat Service featuring the words of Rabbi Zoë and special musical guests, The Afro-Semitic Experience
7:30 p.m. Community Dinner ($25/person)

Saturday, May 2

9:30–11:00 a.m. Special Torah Study led by Rabbi Zoë
1:00–3:00 p.m. Chai Club Lunch honoring members of 18+ years (invite only), featuring Rabbi Zoë

4:00–7:30 p.m. Art Show, Performance and Reception
An afternoon of creativity inspired by Rabbi Zoë:
4:00–4:30 p.m. Opening Cocktail Reception for the Jewish Joy community art show (Lobby)
4:30–6:00 p.m. An evening of artistic performance featuring original music, poetry, and the exciting sounds of The Afro-Semitic Experience
6:00–7:30 p.m. Reception

Please use the Rancho Park Golf Course and surrounding streets and read the posted street signs regarding parking. If you need a handicapped parking spot you will need to reserve ahead of time with Deborah Moses.
