Space for Exchange 2026-2027 Recruitment Form

We are delighted to be seeking expressions of interest for our new programme Space for Exchange!

This is an opportunity for cultural sector professionals working with children & young people, to join our free, eight-month peer-learning programme.

Space for Exchange is a unique CPD offer, in which peers will be paired up over an eight-month process, with the goal of exploring the nature of cultural education and leadership through connection and reflection. Participants will explore why they/their peers do what they do; what is 'good work', and who benefits from it - with the overall aim of developing insight and practice.

To take part in this programme you must be able to commit to these dates:

  • Wednesday July 15th – introductory, in-person session
  • Tuesday 10th or Wednesday 11th November - Mid point check in, online
  • Wednesday February 24th  – Reflection, in-person session

 1. Tell us a bit more about yourself:
The recruitment process will utilise the questions below to gain information to identify appropriate pairings. This information (with permission) may be shared with their partner before the first session.

We will use this to find the right pairings to work together. At this stage you might not have an exact or specific goal, but if you can share any ideas about what you are hoping to learn or get from the process that would be most helpful – ie. More workshop practice ideas; working with vulnerable participants; how to lead large teams; etc.
Share three key goals:

Thank you for your interest in this pilot pairing programme!

After the deadline we will spend time looking over applications to start to generate pairings. Part of this process will be a quick and informal online call with Sheryl Malcolm, the programme facilitator, who will be pairing people up.
