Date and Location: This free, two-day event takes place from May 18-19 at Connections Individual and Family Services in New Braunfels
Youth-serving providers, youth, and young adults from across Central Texas are welcome to join, including those located in Austin. Registrants will receive the specific address and additional guidance via email.

- Day 1 - Programming for Professionals and YYA: Monday, May 18 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. (with 45-minute networking lunch). Day 1 features separate programming for young people and professionals, to listen to and learn from each group. Includes networking lunch, followed by TNOYS' Cross-Systems Capacity Conversation (professionals only) for facilitated conversations on improving services for young people experiencing or vulnerable to homelessness. CEUs will be available, and lunch provided for YYA and professionals.
- Day 2 - Professionals Only: Tuesday, May 19 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. On Day 2, professionals will join for TNOYS' flagship training, Building Alliances to Prevent and End Youth Homelessness. CEUs will be available.
Description: Developed thanks to support from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), this event is part of ongoing work to build capacity for stronger, more coordinated systems of care for youth and young adults (YYA) experiencing or vulnerable to homelessness.
Who Should Attend?
We hope to convene a range of stakeholders, youth-serving professionals, youth, and young adults (YYA) from New Braunfels, and surrounding communities! This includes those with lived and/or professional experience in all of TNOYS’ seven system areas: child welfare, health and behavioral health, justice, housing and homelessness services, survivor services and preventing/ addressing Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Youth (CSEY), education, and higher education/workforce. We encourage you to register and spread the word among your networks.
