General Information
Workshops are 60 minutes in length, unless communicated otherwise, and are attended by a wide range of participants, providing a breadth of exposure to the local human service community. These workshops are featured in the convention registration brochure and on the Council's website, and convention presenters receive complimentary admittance to the day's full program.
Attendance per workshop can vary from 20 to 150 participants from across all human service agency positions, typically skewing toward middle to executive management.
Depending on the workshop's topic, the Providers' Council works to accredit workshops through the Society for Human Resource Management, as well as for social workers, licensed mental health counselors, licensed family and marriage therapists, and licensed alcohol and drug counselors.
