We're so excited to see you here, and can't wait to read your application to be a part of the Music Careers Expo Events Team!

What is the Music Careers Expo?
If you don't already know, the Music Careers Expo is a free, one-day event with keynotes, workshops, and one-on-one conversations with people who actually work in the industry.

Attendees will hear from people working across the industry (artists, managers, producers, engineers) and have the chance to sit down one-on-one with professionals and educators for advice on your next steps.

If you love Australian music and want to work in it, this is where you start!

What is the Music Careers Expo Events Team?
The Music Careers Expo Events Team is a training program for our key volunteers who make the event happen on the day. 

If your application is successful, you will attend two online training sessions on event management, as well as a pre-event day briefing in person with The Push staff and your fellow volunteers. 

On the day of the event, you will have the chance to gain experience in one of these areas:
  • Stage / Room ManagementHelp make sure a space is running to time, and that presenters have what they need
  • MCBe on stage hosting the event - explaining what's happening, introducing speakers, and sharing information throughout the day.
  • Photography / Videography / Social Media Content CreationShadowing and supporting our photographer and comms team to capture some awesome content throughout the day
  • Artist + Industry LiaisonAct as a key point of contact for all artists and speakers at the event - greeting them as they arrive and making sure they have all the information they need
  • Doors and InformationThe face of the event for all attendees - scanning people's tickets as they come through the doors, and supporting us at The Push HQ to answer any questions that attendees may have

When you select which city's Music Careers Expo Events Team you want to participate in in the "Events Team Application" section of the form below, all training and event dates will appear in the "Availability" section below it.
