26-27 Young Texan Ambassador Application

The Young Texan Ambassador Program seeks to inspire and empower youth to keep our communities clean and beautiful by providing them with resources to:

Educate on the importance of litter prevention and other environmental efforts
Spread awareness and organize efforts in their local communities
Become leaders and capacity builders in their communities

The Young Texan Ambassador Program invites Texans ages 15-25 to help us keep Texas beautiful. Ambassadors are passionate about the environment and are committed to making Texas the best place to live, work and play through volunteerism and leadership.

Applications are being accepted May 1, 2026 through June 5, 2026. If you have any questions, please email ambassadors@ktb.org

Young Texan Ambassador must agree to the following:

Commit to one year of service as an Ambassador.

Please REVIEW OUR COHORT CALENDAR to ensure you will be able to participate in the required meetings

Attend the Keep Texas Beautiful virtual orientation and review the Ambassador handbook.
Attend all required educational workshops throughout the year.
Complete one community project and showcase that project by the end of the program year.
Also Organize and participate in at least 1 litter cleanup event and submit a wrap up report for each event.
Share pictures of your event on your social media and tag Keep Texas Beautiful and other applicable sponsors.

Cohort positions:
For the 2026-2027 cohort, we will have a cap on the number of ambassadors we can take for our program at 50 ambassdors total. This means that all applicants will participate in our selection process, which evaluates candidates based on their application, interview performance, and available positions. Interviews will begin as soon as applications open and continue through July. We'll announce all final selections no later than August 1st, 2026.
