Join us for a chance to learn about current environmental
sustainability connected funding opportunities for your group or community
project.
- Presentation: 2:00pm - 3:15pm
- One-to-ones: 3:15pm to 4:00pm
This session will give an overview of the Awards for All
and Reaching Communities grant programmes, with a particular focus
on how both can support environmental projects. Rosie Mellor, The National Lottery,
will explain the main differences between the two funds, including the size and
length of grants, who they’re aimed at, and what the application and decision‑making
process looks like.
Rosie will also introduce the Fund’s environment mission,
which focuses on supporting communities to take action on climate and nature,
particularly where there are barriers to participation or access to quality
natural spaces. We’ll cover success rates in broad terms, common reasons
projects are funded or not, and how to think about which programme is the best
fit for your organisation and idea.
Estelle Worthington, CVSCE, will also update on other
support and funding opportunities that are available to groups and community
groups working in this area.
Ideal for community and voluntary organisations who are
running or plan to run projects that protect nature or are focused on
environmental sustainability.
The session will finish with a one-to-one question and answer session, giving
attendees the chance to ask specific questions and get more tailored guidance
for their organisation or project idea.
