We are delighted to welcome you to the initial stage of the application process for the 2027-2028 Lead for Baringo Initiative in partnership with Teach for Kenya.

This marks the beginning of your application journey, and to be eligible, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Be a Kenyan Citizen
  • Be between 18 to 35 years of age
  • Hold a bachelor's degree or be in your final year of study, expecting to graduate by December 2026.
  • Must originate from Baringo County
(Note: If you are in your final year, you will be required to provide proof confirming that you have completed your coursework and are awaiting graduation (eg, completion letter, graduation letter, graduation note, or official graduation list/ booklet)

Teach for Kenya operates in 4 regions; Nairobi, Kisumu, Machakos and Wajir, and has recently expanded to Baringo County. We are therefore recruiting fellows for placement within Baringo County.

If selected, you will be placed within Baringo County for the duration of the two-year fellowship. Please note that Teach For Kenya will not cater for any relocation expenses.
