How can teaching about Jewish diversity invigorate student engagement, dialogue, and connection? Why is learning and teaching about Jewish diversity critical and how should we approach it in Jewish educational settings? Join Be’chol Lashon and the Jewish Language Project to learn about the whys, whats, and hows of expanding ideas of Jewish peoplehood, including racial, ethnic, and linguistic diversity.
- Date: Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
- Time: 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Doors open at 12:45 pm.
- Place: The Brandeis School of San Francisco (655 Brotherhood Way San Francisco, CA 94132). Free parking is available at the large lot, downhill, to the right of the school.
- Cost: Register for $36 and include additional participants from your organization for $18 each (50% off). Attending with team members is highly encouraged.
- Led by: Lindsey Newman, Director of Education at Be'chol Lashon, and Janine Okmin, Assistant Director at the HUC Jewish Language Project.
