The Climate Education and Leadership Champions learning series targets any network partner staff, fellows, and alumni who are already knowledgeable and engaged with climate education in their context, and who look to strengthen their capacity and skills for being climate education leaders. It is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills and inspiration to empower others to realize and build their own agency and leadership for climate education/action.
The series aims to build the first tier of leadership for infusing climate education throughout the education system. Participants are equipped to work with others in their respective countries to advance climate education at scale - for example, as teachers, school leaders, innovators, and policy-makers. The learning series consists of 10 online sessions (90 mins each), plus pre-work for each session, over a 4-month period.
