Scotty's Remembrance Weekend: London 2026

Date: Friday 6th November - Sunday 8th November.

Location: London. Arrive anytime after 3pm on Friday 6th Nov.

Includes:

2 night stay in a hotel
Tickets to watch the Festival of Remembrance
Time with the Scotty's Team
Free time to explore London
Ticket to part in the National Remembrance Parade
Travel allowance to and from London

Allocation of Tickets:

We have limited places available for this very special event. If we receive more requests than we have places for, we will allocate the tickets using the following system:

1st Selection: Any Members/Springboarders who have never attended the parade with Scotty’s before.

2nd Selection: Any Members/Springboarders who didn’t attend the parade with Scotty’s in 2025.

3rd Selection: Any remaining Members/Springboarders will be selected at random out of a hat.

Anyone who are not allocated tickets will be put onto a cancellation list.

On 1st July you will receive a text to let you know if you have been allocated tickets or have been put on the cancellation list.

Scotty's would like to set up a WhatsApp group for those adults who are coming to the event. It will help us to keep everyone up to date with key information and is a quick and easy way for you to ask questions. Would you like us to add you to that group?

Travel

We are hoping to be able to provide train tickets for everyone attending. Once we receive them we will send them out in the post, so you can then pre book seats if needed. If you are travelling by plane or car, we can send you a travel allowance towards to cost of your plane ticket or fuel. How will you be travelling?

Media & PR

Scotty's uses images and video footage to raise awareness of the charity and the work we do.  It is a powerful way of sharing the support the charity offers, and ensuring we can continue to do the work we do.

We would like to take, store and use photos/video footage of you/your child at the event for the next three years. We will then delete the footage/images or ask for your consent again.   You can, of course, withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.

We may use content on our website, social media channels, with trusted media organisations, in posters, reports for our funders and supporters and other promotional materials. We may not always be able to notify you of where the image/footage is being used. Please consider if your child is happy for their image/footage to be used.

Scotty's Terms and Conditions!

1. Whilst at the event any children are still the responsibility of their parent/carer.

2. Families are responsible for looking after their own belongings. Their personal belongings will not be covered on Scotty’s Little Soldiers' insurance. Scotty’s Little Soldiers cannot accept any liability for loss or damage to their belongings.

3. Scotty’s Little Soldiers can’t take responsibility or pay compensation for things beyond their control that destroy or cause damage. For example: fire, flood, storm or other weather damage, break-in, criminal damage.

4. Whilst attending a Scotty event, I understand that myself and anyone I am bringing along are representing the charity so therefore will act with respect, kindness, and in accordance with the charity’s values.

5. Failure to abide by the terms and conditions will mean that the family may lose their rights to attend any Scotty's events in the future.

RBL

In order to receive the tickets to both events, Scotty's have to enter the details from this form into the Royal British Legions portal. Please note, we do not give any other details. We input the Scotty's office address and email instead of giving your personal addresses. Please make sure you read the RBL's data protection act and privacy policy at the bottom of this page. and give your consent. Without your consent, you won't be able to attend.

RBL's Data Protection Act

The information you have provided on this accreditation application will be processed for security purposes only and in accordance with the Date Protection Act 2018. It will be utilised only by the key stakeholders for the event as appropriate and will not be passed to any other external body or third party, expect where there is a legal or regulatory requirement to do so.

The information supplied will be held on file by The Royal British Legion for this event for a duration of 1 month post event. Should you wish to opt out of this process and have your data removed from the system at the end of this individual event please email the Accreditation Team at cenotaph@britishlegion.org.uk

If you are submitting date on behalf of individuals other than yourself, you must ensure they are aware of the data protection statement above and you mist have their permission to submit the information. You must also ensure each individual is aware of and has access to the Royal British Legion privacy policy.

RBL's Privacy Policy
The Royal British Legion takes your privacy very seriously and we will only collect the personal data that is absolutely necessary to register you for one of our events and to ensure the safety and security of that event. We promise to keep your personal data safe and secure.

We will only use the contact details you provide to provide you with information about the event you have registered for. We will only share your personal data with third parties if there is a legal or regulatory requirement to do so.

We will hold your personal data 1 month after the event or until you withdraw your consent for us to process. If you would like to withdraw your consent and no longer wish to particpate in the event, please contact the Accreditation team at cenotaph@britishlegion.org.uk

When you register for an event, your personal data will be stored in our event accreditation system, which is managed by internal staff at the Royal British Legion. They will process your personal data in compliance with the data protection laws and only for the purpose of registering you at the event you will be participating in. Your information will only be held by The Royal British Legion until one month after the event has concluded.
