Flexible Working in Teaching
Sign up for a discussion on flexible working policies, teacher wellbeing, and lessons across contexts.

Teacher burnout is rising across Europe, and one policy lever keeps coming up in the conversation: flexible working. But how accessible is it really, and does it make a difference? This cross-European conversation will explore teacher wellbeing and flexible working policies — what's working, what isn't, and what we can learn from each other's contexts. We'll hear from two guests with complementary perspectives, then open the floor for alumni to share what flexible working looks like in their own education systems.

We'll be joined by two excellent speakers:
  • Dr Hettie Burn, Research Fellow at UCL Institute of Education, whose work focuses on teacher wellbeing and flexible working policies
  • Naresh Sonpar, Chair of the Education Board at the City of London Corporation, bringing a policy and governance perspective
This opportunity will be held in English and will take place on Tue 16 June · 4:30 PM UK / 5:30 PM CEST · 60 min.
