Stone Soup Group Mini Grant Intake Form

Stone Soup Group (SSG) can assists eligible individuals and families in applying for mini grants through the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority. These grants provide up to $3,000 for approved items, services, or equipment that support independence and quality of life.

Eligibility
  • All other funding sources, including Medicaid, must be exhausted prior to consideration.
  • Individuals must have a developmental disability or a mental health diagnosis.
  • Limited to one application per individual per fiscal year.
  • Requests to reimburse goods or services already purchased or rendered will not be funded.

Applicants must provide
  • A professional letter of support outlining need and benefit
  • Cost estimate(s), including shipping to Alaska

Stone Soup Group only administers mini grants for intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses. 

To apply for a mini grant for people with substance related disorders or traumatic brain injury resulting in permanent brain damage, contact Daybreak 

Fiscal Year: 7/1 current calendar year - 6/30 next calendar year
Based on your responses you are not currently eligible to apply for a mini grant. Mini grants are limited to one per individual per fiscal year.

Mentor Advocate Partner (MAP) is a 1-to-1 peer mentoring program where parents can receive an emotional shoulder to lean on for a period of 8 weeks and access to the monthly Compass Group to connect with other Mentors and parents walking the road of disabilities.
