RESILIENCE FUND FOR WOMEN IN GLOBAL VALUE CHAINS 

 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The Resilience Fund for Women in Global Value Chains provides flexible, unrestricted funding to women-led, community-based organizations working to strengthen the resilience, health, safety and economic wellbeing of women connected to global value chains. In 2026, the Fund is seeking organizations in Bangladesh, Cambodia, India and Vietnam with experience working across women’s health, safety and economic resilience, community-led climate adaptation, and worker wellbeing in global value chains.

  

Before you apply 

Please review the key eligibility requirements below. To apply, your organization must be:

  • Registered, based in and operating in Bangladesh, Cambodia, India or Vietnam  
  • Formally registered organization authorized to receive foreign funding 
  • Community-based, with established relationships with the communities you serve
  • Women and/or non-binary led, with 50% of the organizational staff being women or non-binary people. 

We’re looking to fund organizations with experience in the 3 key pillars of this round of grantmaking: 

  1. Supporting women’s health, safety, wellbeing and economic resilience  
  2. Addressing impacts of climate change and advancing community-led climate adaptation 
  3. Strengthening rights and wellbeing of women workers (formal/informal workers and entrepreneurs) in global value chains and/or their communities 

  

Important Dates and Process Steps 

The application process has a two-step proposal process for submitting applications. In Phase 1, you submit the first application to share basic information about your organization and its work and mission. In Phase 2, a longlist of organizations will be invited to submit a second application to complete the process. 

Key dates: 

  • 18 September - 12 October 2026 (now): Phase 1 applications are open
  • 30 September 2026 - Application support webinar
  • End of October 2026: Longlisted candidates will invited to submit a Phase 2 application
  • December 2026: Applications will be shortlisted and selected for funding

Grant amounts are between $15,000 and $50,000 USD total over 2 years. Requests may not exceed 150% of your organization’s annual revenues. Grant funds may not be used for microloans, election campaigns or political lobbying.
