Join the OUTscouts for an overnight camping trip! This trip is open to any youth between the ages of 18 - 24 years old!

For this trip, we will be camping in a more rustic camping area, meaning we will be in a more remote location on designated forest service land intended for recreating, but we will have access to primative bathrooms but no running water!

 Youth who have not been on a trip with us before are still very welcome to join us!

There will be lots of opportunities to learn (or practice) skills like camp set up, fire building and safety, camp cooking, etc.

When: October 16th-18th

No previous experience necessary!

No gear? No worries! We have loaner gear available for folks who need it! Please let us know what you need and we'll source from our existing inventory!

For ages 18 - 24

Limited space! - there are 10 spots available

We'll meet at the Youth Center the morning of October 16th and return the afternoon of October 18th. Transportation will be provided from the Youth Center. A more detailed timeline and packing list will be shared with everyone who is accepted to come!

We will enjoy varying levels of activity and terrain. This includes engaging in various outdoor camping activities including the option to participate in some basic camp maintance as a service project. 

Folks who apply before September 26th, will be considered early applications and will be notified the following week of acceptance. Folks applying after this date will be accepted on a rolling basis until all spots are filled. Those on the waitlist will be notified, so if you have the option to leave your schedule open, spots may become available closer to the trip date!
