What: Charity Fundraiser Weekend to benefit the National MS Society

Where: Westin Chicago Northwest 400 Park Blvd, Itasca, IL

When: Fri.Jan 22 2027 (1pm)-Sun Jan 24, 2027 (5pm) Come and go as you please!

Cost: Early bird price is $125-1 month before event, price increases to $150 (as this is a fundraiser, all sales are final, no refunds or credits). If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person for this event.

Additional Details:

Our weekend events are for those 21 years and older. If you are interested in events that include children and teens, please look into our day events.

What is included in the weekend?

24 hour access to craft room

Everyone registered 1 month before the event is guaranteed to be seated near their friend request. After that we will try our best.

What is not included?

*Food/Drink: Outside food/beverages are not allowed in the crop room. There are 3 restaurants on site and many options nearby. The Westin has beautiful areas, inside and outside, to eat if you bring in your food. All drinks must be in a non-clear covered cup

*The registration fee does not include lodging

*If you are staying at the hotel and do not use our room block, breakfast is not included

Crop for a Cause Cancellation Policy: As this is a fundraiser donations are non-refundable, however tickets are transferable to another guest. Please email us with the person’s name and email so we can get all info to them. We reserve the right to cancel the weekend is there is not a minimum of 20 people. In the event of this we will offer you an alternative weekend or refund your money.

Crop for a Cause Food/Beverage Liability Policy: The Westin has generously waived the required food and beverage minimum for our event. In return we are have agreed not to bring any food/beverage into the conference room that has not been purchased directly from the hotel. The deli down the hall is not a part of the Westin hotel. There are many areas in the lobby to relax and enjoy anything you have brought in from outside the hotel. If you violate this policy and any damages occur, you will be solely responsible for any costs/fees charged and will not be allowed to attend this event in the future. We also must insist that everyone use a non-clear covered cup for any beverage consumption including water. We will have them to purchase if you do not have one.
Crop for a Cause Disclaimer: I understand that equipment may cause injury if not used correctly. I agree to hold harmless Crop for a Cause and all volunteers at the event. Crop for a Cause will be held harmless against any loss, expenses, damages and liabilities in the event of injury or accident that may occur at a Crop for a Cause event. Crop for a Cause will not be held responsible for damages, lost or stolen items. I understand that by attending our events, I consent to the use of photos in which I may appear. We also reserve the right to cancel or move a Weekend Retreat to another location or date and if you choose to make hotel reservations on your own instead of using the “hotel room block” we are not responsible for the cost and or/refund for the cost of your hotel reservations. Do you need electricity at the crop? Due to Covid changes, please bring your own.

FRIEND REQUEST FOR SEATING: Please seat me near the following people: Registration forms received 1 month prior to the event will be guaranteed. After that we will do our best. Your group will have a general seating area. You decide who sits where in that area. If none please write none and we will seat you near a friendly group.

Hotel Booking Info: To receive the discounted rate with breakfast, you MUST use our room block and book by Dec 15, 2027 .

Rooms in the block are limited so don't wait to book your room. The room block code is on our web site under the events tab. The Westin is giving us a special rate and blocked rooms are limited so don’t miss out on the value! If there are ANY problems booking or it says our block is full please email info@cropforacause.com so I can try to add rooms.

What is included in the hotel room block: (you must book by 1/15/2027)

FREE breakfast each day for each person in the room block. You will receive these vouchers from Laura.
Valet parking spaces in front for your use.
FREE upgraded high speed WIFI.
3pm check out-you must mention this when you check in.
