The Community Arts Education Leadership Intercultural Institute (CAELII) is the National Guild’s flagship leadership development program for the community arts education field. Building on a legacy of leadership training that dates back to 1985, CAELII has supported generations of practitioners and organizational leaders who have gone on to shape and strengthen the field nationwide.

Through a cohort-based experience that combines virtual learning, mentorship, coaching, and peer exchange, participants explore topics such as strategic leadership, organizational sustainability, equity, governance, and change management while building meaningful relationships with colleagues from across the country.
