Request for Late Audition

Musicians with extenuating circumstances that prevent them from submitting their audition by the due date may request a late submission date. You can view the 2027 SYO Auditions Key Dates online here. If approved, you will receive your excerpts 5 weeks before your new submission date.

Please let us know as early as possible! If you already know you'll need more time, tell us now — don't wait. Requests made after you've received your excerpts or for plans and commitments you already knew about are unlikely to be approved.

Reasonable circumstances may include HSC exams, illness, or other misadventure.

Late auditions are not automatically granted and require approval. If you'd like to be considered, please list your reason below.
