Women Rising for Climate Resilience is an eight-week online leadership programme for emerging women* leaders across South and Southeast Asia** who want to turn their concern for the climate crisis into meaningful action. Originally co-created by women climate leaders and climate organisations across the region, the programme is now led by Wedu. Through interactive learning and peer exchange, you will build the knowledge, tools and confidence to design a climate initiative that responds to your community's needs.
This application is the first step towards joining the programme, and it will take you around 30 minutes to complete. Completing it does not guarantee a place, as applications will be reviewed before enrolment is confirmed. The programme is completely free of charge.
| *At Wedu, we see gender as a matter of self-determination, so our definition of ‘woman’ includes cis women, trans women and everyone who identifies as a woman.
| **Eligible countries include Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam
