Thank you for participating in the 2027 Global Ties U.S. Exchanges Photo Contest!

What We're Seeking: We are looking for photos that capture the power and impact of U.S. Government exchange programs like the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). Photos should tell a story, highlight an interaction between exchange participants and community leaders, and showcase the value of citizen diplomacy.

You may submit up to five (5) photos. Photos should have been taken between August 1, 2025 - August 30, 2026 and be of the highest resolution and quality available. 

Who Can Contribute: Submissions may be from members of the Global Ties Network, U.S. Government representatives, interpreters/liaisons working on international exchange programs, exchange program alumni, and others who have interacted with or been involved in a U.S. Government exchange program. 

For each photo submitted: Please provide a title for the photo, a brief description of the story behind the photo, and the name of the U.S. Government exchange program with which it is associated.

NOTE: For any photos taken by someone else and uploaded on your behalf, please provide the photographer's name and organizational affiliation.

Please read the Rules and Regulations. Winning submissions are selected by a panel of representatives from the U.S. Department of State, Global Ties U.S., and National Program Agencies.

Deadline for submissions: Thursday, September 10, 2026
