Advanced Robotic Programming

This interest form is for IAM District 751 and W24 members who would like to enroll in the Advanced Robotic Programming Course offered by the Machinists Institute.

Course Description

This 24-hour course builds upon foundational robotics programming by advancing students into complex robotic applications, system integration, and production-ready automation. Instruction focuses on advanced programming techniques, multi-step process development, sensor integration, optimized robot motion, and troubleshooting strategies used in modern manufacturing environments.

  • Advanced Program Development and Optimization
  • Complex Motion Programming and Path Control
  • Sensor, Vision, and I/O Integration
  • Multi-Tool and End-of-Arm Tooling Management
  • Advanced Logic, Registers, and Program Flow
  • System Diagnostics, Error Recovery, and Production Troubleshooting
Prerequisite: Participants must have successfully complete Robotics Fundamentals & Operations course to be eligible for this course.

Schedule and Location
Courses are offered in morning, evening, and Saturday formats to accommodate various work shifts. Final class times will be confirmed based on interest and availability.
