Working with CSSF
The Shakespeare Schools Festival runs in two phases, the Autumn phase begins in September and finishes at the end of November, The Spring phase runs January to the end of March.
We hold two days for staff training for all our facilitators - you must attend staff training before being able to deliver any workshops or Performance Days. These are paid days and we cover travel and accomodation expenses.
Performance Day
The facilitators play a vital role in the experience of young people, teachers, theatres and audiences on our performance day.
Company Managers focus is time and space; getting everyone to the right place at the right time as well as liaising with front of house, completing paperwork and working with Teacher-Directors to creatively solve problems.
Stage Directors take care of business in the auditorium, spending the day running tech rehearsals with the theatre tech team and the young people performing before taking to the stage to welcome our audience and enthusiastically host the performances After each performance, Stage Directors write an appraisal of each company which is sent to the school.
We work with lots of different groups, please can you let us know your experience working with all of the following?
