About the Career Test Drive® Program: The Career Test Drive® Program transforms career exploration by providing middle and high school students with hands-on experience in in-demand careers through immersive, industry-designed simulations. Rather than simply learning about careers through presentations or brochures, students use real tools and complete authentic tasks that help them discover their interests, strengths, and future possibilities. The program highlights STEM career pathways that require less than a four-year degree and connects students to opportunities that lead to long-term economic mobility.
As part of this volunteer experience, participants will step into the role of students and engage in BridgeYear’s immersive Career Test Drive® simulations. Volunteers will provide real-time feedback on the experience, helping our new facilitators strengthen their facilitation skills while informing improvements to both new and existing career exploration simulations. Their insights will play a valuable role in enhancing the quality and impact of our programming.
